Children below the age of 5 years will be on complimentary on the adult meal plan without an extra bed

Children between 5 - 12 years will be charged INR 600 per child per night

Children above the age of 12 years and extra adults are charged INR 1,500 per person per night

INR 2,000 supplement to be upgraded from a Land Cottage to a Floating Cottage/Premium Cottage

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds available on cancellation received 7 days prior to the date of arrival. 100% penalty on cancellations received within 7 days prior to arrival.

In the event you do not utilize your reservation (no-show) or fail to cancel prior to the stipulated time period, there will be no refund granted.

The sightseeing trip to Trivandrum City which was built on the seven hills includes visits to Sri Padmanbhaswamy Temple, Puthen Maliga Palace Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Natural History Museum, Zoological Gardens Napier Museum, Kanakakunnu Palace, Planetarium Academy of Magical Science. In addition to the mentioned, Southern Indian City life will be visible.

Kovalam is one of the best beaches in India where swimming is safe. Kovalam beach also has beach side bistros which are tourist friendly. This is an ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, catamaran cruising etc.

Excursion 3 - Kanyakumari

Situated 78 Km from Poovar, Kanyakumari is also known as Cape Camorin. It is the southernmost tip of India where the water bodies – the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea meet. This trip also includes a glimpse in to the past with a visit to Padmanabhpuram Palace (42 Km from Poovar) and to Suchendrum Palcace (65 Km from Poovar)

Excursion 4 - Ponmudi & Cardamom Hills

Ponmudi is a small hill station, making an ideal spot for a pleasant day trip. The hills are lightly wooded and easy walking. The journey to Ponmudi is picturesque. The journey falls along the banks of the Kollar River (72 Km from Poovar) with banana, rice, rubber, teak, tea and pepper plantations. It also provides glimpses into the village life of South India. Other sights on the way are a small deer park, Cardamom and other spice plantations.
A dip in the Kollar River, is possible to rejuvenate the weary traveler.

The source of the backwaters on which Poovar floats, the Neyyar River is sparking green and can be seen in all its pristine beauty while driving along the banks of the river. On the way back from Neyyar dam Pay homage at Aruvippuram – the Narayana Samadhi (Tomb) where our local saint who believed in one religion, one god rests forever. This is at a supplement of INR 500 (25 Km from the dam on the way back)
